Engaging the 9th National Assembly on the Institute of Environmental Practitioners of Nigeria (IEPN) Bill. This landmark session was championed by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who served as Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Environment, marking a pivotal step in professionalizing environmental practice.
Following the Lagos Council event and NEC-supervised EXCO elections, Councillor Alhaji Jelil Olubori (former GM, Operations LAWMA) presented a strategic position document on the future of waste management in Lagos to the Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Adejare. The delegation was received by the Commissioner, the Special Adviser on Environment (now Badagry LGA Chairman), and the then GM of Lagos Water Corporation.
